Abigail Foley is a senior researcher at AIR. Her primary responsibilities include providing research-based training and technical assistance to educators at the state, university, district, and school levels to help them achieve improved outcomes for students with disabilities. Foley also serves as a project manager on two USDOE projects and oversees the budget, procurements, reporting, and website/technology activities. She manages AIR’s multi-tiered system of supports fee-for-service line and leads business development efforts on this topic for the special education practice area.
As a member of the practice area leadership team, Foley coordinates with AIR leadership to recruit, hire, and staff individuals across special education projects. Foley has extensive experience in project management, product development, and training/TA. Foley also has expertise in special education, MTSS, evidence-based practices, high-leverage practices, literacy, practice-based learning opportunities, and education policy.
Previously, Foley worked as an elementary special education teacher in the District of Columbia.
